To provide professional portraits taken outdoors for members attending a PD day.

Portraits were taken during the lunch break; the main backdrop was a large peppercorn tree between the conference venue and a car park. Photographing outside is risky as you want to avoid direct sunlight so I set up a remotely fired flash in the shadow of the peppercorn tree and softened the flash by firing it through an umbrella.
