Recent On Location Work

Client: Macquarie Telecom

Macquarie Telecom has made its staff the centre of its branding strategy. This extends to using its staff in all marketing and advertising campaigns.

The job involved spending the day with Liz as she travelled around Sydney’s CBD and surrounds. My brief was to highlight how Macquarie Telecom’s apps enable Liz to work on the go. or in cafés, bars or parks.

I photographed Liz on trains, in taxis, in cafés, in bars and on the street. Images were carefully framed to avoid identifying anyone else as they were for marketing purposes and I didn’t want to deal with model releases. Available light was used whenever possible since high isos (up to 3200 asa) were allowed. Each location took no more than fifteen minutes. Both I and Macquarie Telecom came up with locations. The bar shots were taken in QT Hotel.
