BRIEF
To provide stills and behind the scenes images for a wide screen film custom made for Taronga Zoo’s 5:1 ratio custom theatre.
CHALLENGES
The unique film ration of 5:1 meant that film camera had an extraordinary wide view so this meant positioning myself was very difficult if I wanted imagery that gave the viewer a sense of immediacy. My cameras also had to be silent to keep the sound engineers happy and I couldn’t use flashes since the scenes were being filmed.
