To photograph an awards night in order to encourage international secondary students to study in NSW.

To photograph individual students and groups of students, to photograph the Indigenous Musicians and to photograph the minister presenting awards. Since the event started at dusk and the available light would be poor, I brought a shoot through umbrella to diffuse the remotely triggered flash to ensure portraits would have soft light and blurred backgrounds.
